Standard Metal Garage Doors
Traditional metal garage doors have a light wood grain texture, and are available in a variety of panel styles. Short Panel, Long Panel, and Flush Panel designs are standard options. Metal garage doors are available in all sizes. Metal garage doors are available in a variety of thicknesses (or gauges). 26 gauge metal is considered to be a “builders quality door,” 25 gauge metal is a thicker metal that the 26 gauge door and is the most common replacement grade garage door. 24 gauge metal is a upgrade in both quality and longevity. Metal garage doors are available with a wide variety of colors with the most common being white, almond, sandstone, and brown. Optional windows are available in all doors with a wide variety of styles.
Metal Carriage House Garage Doors
Carriage house garage doors are an upgrade in appearance from that of the standard garage door. Carriage house garage doors are made with the same high quality construction as a standard door but they have a different stamping that adds more character to your garage door. Carriage house garage doors are available in all sizes. Carriage house garage doors are available in 25, and 24 gauge metals. Carriage house garage doors are available in a stamped short panel, and stamped long panel. Carriage house garage doors are available in white, almond, sandstone, and brown. Optional windows are available in all doors with a wide variety of styles.
Wood Grain Metal Garage Doors
Wood Grain Metal Garage Doors are made by some manufacturers as another option for your garage door. This is a finish that is available to have the appearance of a custom wood covered door, but with far less maintenance, and at a more attractive price. These doors are most often 24 gauge metal doors, and available in multiple sizes. There are multiple “Faux Finish” colors available, and each manufacturer varies. Wood grain metal garage doors have the same high quality construction as other standard or carriage styles. Wood grain doors are available in Traditional short panel, long panel, flush panel, stamped short grooved, and stamped long grooved. Wood grain metal doors are special order and normally require a wait time of 2-3 weeks.
Smart Trim Garage Doors
Smart trim garage doors are custom designed, made to order garage doors. Smart trim garage doors start with a flush panel garage door, and then they are trimmed with a rot resistant material, or natural cedar. This construction method gives the garage door the look of a custom cedar garage door but with a large reduction in weight. This weight reduction lengthens the life of all garage door components. Smart trim doors sold with the rot resistant material must be painted entirely, and cedar trimmed doors must be painted and/or stained. Staining and painting are the responsibility of the customer. Contact a qualified painter for assistance with this. Smart trim door are custom made and require a wait time of 2-3 weeks.
Full Glass Garage Doors
Full glass garage doors have a rust-proof aluminum frame with windows throughout. Full glass garage doors normally fit well with modern or contemporary homes. Full glass garage door frames can be ordered in multiple colors, or can be painted to match your home. Windows are available in a wide variety of finishes. Available finishes are natural, tinted, frosted, obscure, mirrored, and laminated. Most windows are available insulated, but some are not.
*All garage doors installed by The Garage Medic come standard with wide bodied hinges (14 gauge), long life nylon rollers (10-Ball), commercial quality track, reinforcement strut(s), torsion spring assemblies, and new torsion spring(s). All 16 x 7 garage doors come standard with 2 torsion springs.
