Custom Cedar Doors
Our method of Cedar Garage Doors is the cedar veneer over a metal Garage Door. We believe this method is superior because the weight is reduced slightly vs. the 100% Cedar Garage Door. Cedar covered metal doors provide more stability due to the quality of the metal door. Our doors have a support strut on EVERY section, on ALL size Cedar Garage Doors. Also, our doors are insulated, to provide better temperature control in your garage, and also your home.
Below are the structural components of a Cedar Garage Door:
Sections
- 2” thick, commercial 24 gauge galvanized steel panels
- Insulated w/ vinyl backed polystyrene insulation
- Cedar Wood is bonded, and mechanically fastened
Hardware
- Commercial grade, 14 gauge hinges, bottom and top brackets
- 20,000 cycle torsion springs
- Commercial grade track assembly
- Long life, long stem nylon coated rollers
- Support struts on every panel, on any size door.
- Full length opener brackets (applicable on installations with openers)
Finish
- Cedar veneer is made up of 1” x 6” tongue and grooved material
- Smooth or rough texture is available
- All doors are installed unfinished, and MUST be sealed, painted, and/or stained within 7 days of installation
- Finishing is not our responsibility. Consult with a qualified painter to ensure satisfaction with finished garage door.
Warranty
- 1 year labor warranty for installation services
- 1 year warranty for workmanship and de-lamination
- 3 year hardware warranty
